MAP sensor on TDV6

Am I correct in assuming that the 3.0 TDV6 has a MAP sensor and that it's in the same place as the 2.7 TDV6?

Thanks Nick. I was just going to clean it. Thought I'd check here first before removing the engine cover. It's too cold for searching around under the bonnet. Thumbs Up

i'm wanting to clean my map sensor after reading some of the threads on this website.
I'm a novice at best when it comes to car maintenance. Are there any videos or guides on how to find this little device?

Cheers

That was the thread i was reading. I saw those pictures but i have a D4 and the compartment isn't the same. Like i say my knowledge is terrible at the moment and finding my way around an engine bay is like a labyrinth to me.

Found it, was pretty much in the same place. Gave it a clean and what not with cotton wool buds and the like.
Still get restricted performance errors on startup so i guess its a trip to the garage Crying or Very sad

I am wondering. Are there any other components under the bonnet which i can clean easily which may resolve the restricted performance error?
Also even if i do managed to clear the problem do i still need a computer to clear the light indicators and restore normal driving?

Cheers
