How many times can you go up & down?

As the title

Set the D3 to Access Height then raise to Off Road then lower to Access & repeat

There is a serious side to this I trying to ascertain how many cycles on average a D3 does before the “vehicle raising slowly” comes up

Aside from off road a typical scenario could be

Raise car to off road to plug in tow ball (1 cycle)
Lower to access reverse to trailer
Raise to engage ball to cup (1 cycle)
Lower to normal to check all is well
Then possibly raise to off road to pull off drive to ensure tow hook does not ground whilst traversing the kerb (1 cycle)

It would appear that the new patches limit the cycles to 1.5 in a specified time no one can tell me what that time is but overnight seems a bit extravagant

Got in this morning from Access level overnight and flicked to Normal. From the off it said "Raising slowly".

Is there a button for 0 then?

Driven to work, parked up for half an hour and just tried again. Still wants to raise me slowly. I think the compressor is making more noise too, but cant be sure as normally the radio drowns out any external sound.

Aaaaaarrrgghhh! Mine raised and lowered 3 times - but on the next two journeys I've had suspension faults. Its locked at ride height, amber warning light, won't raise or lower. Sad Rolling Eyes Sad

Resets if I switch off but then comes back... Sad

Dont let LRA reset the code or if they do get the fault numbers first (Guess you know this) without them your dealer is stuffed

Tonight I drove about 2 miles with it at off-road height, then put it back to road height (well, got fed up driving slowly!), but hasn't faulted out since. I'll see how it goes...

Well, false alarm, its been alright since. Thanks for the advice. Do you know how long fault codes are stored for? I've also had the SRS warning light come up - every journey for two days - but this also stopped and hasn't returned. Just wondered whether or not the dealer could see these faults after 2 or 3 months?

I'll let you know tomorrow morning when I get mine back from the dealers.

They should be able to show me evidence of the repeated fault going back to the end of February (when it last went in).
