Manual gearbox on D4

Hello,

i ve a D4 MY10 with manual gearbox and 2,7l lion tdv6. it's only a 190 horse power.
I would increase power by doing an update of the ecu software.

i can find companies near me who do that. no problem.

My request is more on mecanical caracteristics. manual gearbox was only sold with this engine and with this power instead of automatic gearbox who are used on all range of engine.

So is it possible to increase power with a D4 equiped with manual gearbox. and what are the limits aboute torque and horse power.
for example, on my defender, i ve a R380 gearbox and i ve understand that it accept 380Nm of torque. it was design for this value.

but what are the limits of manual gearbox ? who has this information ? or experience on this topic

br,

Eric

Its the D3 engine and gearbox. So any updates the D3 lot can do, you’ll be able to do too in your early D4 Thumbs Up
