I did around 850 miles last week, fast motorway, a few A+B roads etc. 26mpg with regular diesel for the first tankful, then 28mpg on home journey with Shell V Max. Despite an earlier posting, I have now decided that VMax is cheaper per mile, and as someone pointed out there is less often a queue for this expensive pump ! (manual gearbox and Pirelli scorpions)

You need your dealer to sort this out FOC as its so new to you.
EPB issues are really the only achilles heal of the D3.

Damn... thats very low mate. I have never seen my range below 450 a tank. And I don't drive like a granny.
The new one seems to be around the 500 mark all the time.

I think the tank range calculation is a function of the algorithm in the software rather than purely a function of the engines economy.... Cheers

Give it a few miles to settle down and the range added to your trip is pretty close to reality. It changes depending on the fuel you use too. BP Ultimate or equivalent will give you a higher range reading than cheapo Tesco muck.
If I use the BP stuff my range increases to nearly 600 or above.
