Guys,
Ihave just returned from My Dealership and he had not been informed of the latest upgrades from GTR. I was able to give him the Bulletin numbers that i found on the technical forum and he was surprised to find 18 PAGES of various upgrades from suspension through to gearbox modules. It appears that the dealers don't regularly check these things. If you live in the Townsville area give me a call if you need any more info. 0402917667

Stevo, also mentioned here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4840&highlight= the 18 pages are mainly instructions for the dealers on how and what to claim time for, the majority of the programme is focussed on ensuring that all electronic modules have the latest software uplevel installed

Eough of the Holden Bashing....an old mate of mine spent 40yrs driving betwenn Mt Isa and the Gulf in a EH ute...there was no such thing as a four wheel drive back then.....but the lines today between the makes is so blurred that I don't thing product loyalty is so intense as it was ten yrs ago.....except if you own a LR. our Holdens never let us down but I think product loyalty is still alive and well especially around Bathurst time. (where I live anyway) Now to start Landies vs the rest loyalty.
Now back to the subject although my D3 is still 3 months away whenever I speak to my dealer the words " I didnt know that" are too common but thanks to this site I can keep up to speed.

Quote:No CDK? ???
it takes so long becuase they have to squeeze her in the good ship the Endeavour and then 2 months to sail to the penal colony(OZ) and get processed by the redcoats before its transported by horse and cart to my dealer.

I can't imagine the CKD kit for a D3 Drive down the A34 and you see them all going to Southampton to be exported. Its then you realise how popular white is with ROW! DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone
