Lynx Diagnostic Equipment - whats it like ?

Anybody have any experience of this ? how does it compare to other such diagnostic devices for function and price ?

We bought one of the first ones from Britpart and haveonly used it once to clear a couple of fault codes. We did have a problem at the start, it couldn't see the D4, but that was traced to a glitch in the software and after downloading an update it worked perfectly. Now I have my car back it will be interesting to see its full potential. The manual could be better written, very basic and I don't think it has been through the 'Idiot' test

I must say that Omitec couldn't have been be more helpful sorting out the software problem and Britpart were keen to hear our feedback.

Hi all. I'm currently rebuilding a D4 and i'm looking for a diagnostic tool to buy to check out and clear all the faults but primarily to reset the suspension ride heights. Does anyone know if the Lynx unit is capable of this?
