Hello - had diagnostics done by these guys, who identified a fault in the rear offside wheel speed sensor, which is causing the classic symptoms of multiple warning lights, suspension stuck in access height etc.
they quickly managed to clear some of the faults and suspension now ok. Car is booked in next week to get the sensor replaced to clear the rest of the faults (HDC failure, special programs not available etc). From what i've read on here it looks like this may in fact be a problem with the wiring loom in the front n/s wheel arch - is it easy for me to get in and check this first before taking it in?
Also had EGR fault showing up. he quoted £400 per valve to replace, which seems a lot based on what i've seen on the forums. Especially if i can just blank it. Fuel consumption terrible although performance is ok. Not keen on racking up large bills on a 54 plate car...Having recently fixed broken tailgate release cable myself i'm tempted to try a DIY job for the blanking...
Has anyone had experiences with these guys? Anyone know of any other independents in south/ south-west london that might be worth a try?
thanks a lot...

Nothing but good things on here about Geoff, sadly my fleet is company and cannot use him otherwise I'd bite off his hand.

Comes under Charlton and I guess Woolwich Dockyard is walking distance - would be interesting to see how they perform. LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

I've used both. Give Geoff a call and save yourself a lot of money and grief.

Can confirm I made it home and the old girl is in great shape! Thanks again to Geoff and those who recommended him. Cannot speak highly enough and will always be my first port of call in future.

oh wow, good luck to him.
Anyone else you can recommend for me as even LLR who use to help me with these sort of jobs seem to be closed with no more of a online footprint.
