LR3 hire in USA

Iwould like to hire an LR3 (presumably V8 Very Happy ) from Boston to do some travelling when on holiday in New England end July/Beg Aug. Hertz previously did them but not now Sad Any ideas??

Have you asked on RRS forum as lots of US guys on there, a few such as Grommet visit here, I think he is in California so nearly as far from Boston as we are!! You could also try the LR Chronicle which is mainly US based. DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

I rented a LR DISCO 3 V8 from Hertz Newark airport, only a month or so ago.

Hertz don't always list all the cars they have available...i.e. websites are not always up to date.

Hope you get one.

Last time I checked the hertz at logan had them but they guard them. If they think you will return it to another outlet they won't rent them to you.

I have lived in Germany and the UK . I came back here and stayed, but like all things it is changing, less rural more suburban.

I lived in st. Andrews for a couple years. Not exactly your neck of the woods but I visited Glasgow a couple of times.

I saw LR3's at Hertz in San Francisco, and Los Angeles LAX. They will not let you hire one if you don't return to same point.
