LR towpack

LR towpack

Hi folks

Do I have to buy the LR towpack, specifically the electrics kit. Is it hardwired, or canbus technology?

If you go to the Owners Information Website at http://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/extfree2viewlrprod/index.jsp select Discovery and Accessory Fitting Instructions you will be able to get the fitting instructions for the towing kit. You have to register but there is no fee.

It's hardwired to a connector, although you should apparently get your/a dealer to tell the car it's got a towpack fitted. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Yup, it's so it doesn't do it's suspension tricks when you've got a trailer hooked up. They just plug in WDS and tick the towbar box basically.
Fitting is easy, take you about half an hour. The End
