LR Tow bar Suprisingly easy
So having got the ol pop in tow bar on flea bay, thought it best to try before we caravan at easter!
What a great fit! easy to do, compared to getting the plastic panel off! so quite pleased!

I don't think Ray does but I'm sure there was somebody else selling a way to secure your towbar but I can't seem to find the thread at the minuteCheers Ian

I appreciate no one is going to tell me how to steal one but do I need to buy a new lock for it ? When I turn the green handle I can feel the pin in the back not retracting far enough for it to come out.
Fail to see how they are so easy to steal when I can't get the er out with the keys !!Velar MY18 D180 S Narvik

Try a liberal dosing of wd40, go make a brew and come back to it 15 mins later.
A light tap with a hammer does the trick for mine, but watch your feet.......when gravity takes over it drops pretty sharp 2000 D2 TD5 - big red tractor (2004-2007)

If you are not fond of hammering as I was, here is another option - I just removed the green plastic handle and used plumber/pipe/swedish wrench on the turning rod to which handle is attached. I've also pulled the rod out as you usually do when operating it normally.
Then just disassembled from the lock side and cleaned it, now operates almost as new.
Watch for the ball if decide to disassemble, its hard to find it on the floor
