LR Insurance quote - slight query

Hi,

I've just had a quote from LR ins which is ok. I do have a slight worry though. I've got a '06 Base 7seat but they couldn't find that on the system and had to enter it as an S spec.

Could this be a problem if I tried to claim?

Also they gave me a £350 excess. Seems a bit step, how does this compare to others?

I've got £250 with NFU. Only £25 window excess......

Not sure about the Base 7 seat, but provided that they state in the details of the cover note, then should not be a problem. Bodsys Brake Bible

Get them to put a note on their system against your policy that you told them it was a 7-Seat base and they used a S spec when quoting you. Then its for all to see as evidence if there is an issue later on.

I had them do the same when I could find NO evidence in writing on the insurance documentation that they would cover me for Off Road Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
