Very good experience with LR extended warranty. Definitely got my money's worth. Totally hassle free and no quibbles on mileage up to 75K.

Had bad experiences with extended warranty. Probably down to the muppets at guy salmon Stratford.

The last occasion I couldn't open the fuel filler so LR assist cameout forced it open so I could fill up and told me to take it to dealer. Dealer fixed then gave me a bill for it, they told me they had checked with LR who advised it would not be covered. At this point I picked up the phone on the service desk and called LR, they said (on the speakerphone) they had no record of any call from guy salmon and the part would be covered under warranty.

The dealer told a bare faced lie and looked a muppet in front of a busy service desk.

Needless to say a avoid these wan***s at all costs!

I think so much of it is to do with the dealer. If you trust your dealer, chances are the warranty company will. If you think your dealer shafts you, then chances are so will the warranty company.

Mine were great - very pleased.
