Anyone been on one of these, and if so, which centre can you recommend?

I was at the Skipton Land Rover Experience on Wednesday in a D4, the centre is located in the grounds of a hotel and although the off road course seems quite compact there is plenty of different surfaces and obstacles to get stuck into. They range from a water hazard, very steep accents and descents, steps plenty of hills to go up and down of varying surfaces and a tricky wooded section which includes a downhill section with a bridge made out of 4 logs at the bottom  All in all it was a great day and learned quite a bit from Will the instructor

I did the one at Bickerton castle Cheshire in January Although the instructors were great the course is very tame Now Renault Trafic

The basic course at Dunkeld is also tame, but it consists of standardised, mainly man-made obstacles, which is understandable if LR want to have a similar "experience" at each site. Also in the grounds of a hotel but well away from it. The instructors seemed overly concerned about possible damage to their vehicles to the point of allowing people to get stuck in situations where a little momentum would have overcome the obstacle.
Probably best to go to the site nearest where you are for the first visit, unless you are wanting to make a weekend away out of it. Aren't LR about due to be offering free visits again? Keep watching the forum. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. I've been to Eastnor a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed. A good venue if you're into the history of the marque as the staff give you the history of what was tested where etc. I started off with nothing and Ive still got most of it left.

I have been to Eastnor a couple of times and the one thing that struck me was that the instructors weren't in the least bit worried about what we did to the vehicles. Good day out  2016 D4 Landmark - Waitomo/Ebony

was up at dunkeld on thursday thats my third time up there but the first time in the discovery 4 it was kinda wierd trying to do a couple of the bits just watching the cameras but all good fun the wife enjoyed it as it was her first time
