Following my near miss with the cambelt tensioner coming adrift, car (my2004) has been into local dealer for new cambelt etc. All working fine apart from low oil pressure - 1/2 bar below LR recommended pressure when the engine warms up which triggers oil light. When engine is cold its fine. Car drives perfect, no knocks, clanks etc cylinder balance/ pressures are all normal just the damned oil pressure. LR tech changed oil and filter - still the same. LR stated it could be oil pick up, or oil pump but would want £700 to replace pump and no guarantees it would cure it. Also suggested it could be a damaged oilway/ cam. Any other suggestions greatly received.

Suspect its not that though
Anyone have photos of the pickup tube? maybe the cause of the broken engines is the debris blocking oil passing trough the screen in this tube...
Land cruisers have this problem and issued a TSB to cure it.

This may sound daft, but could it be the oil pressure sensor that's failed too? A cheap replacement?

Maybe it was something else failing that caused the bolt to snap? Possibly a partial cam seizure? Hope not
