I made the dealer take care of this. They told me there was some kind of overflow value that had caused some of the coolant to leak.

Nige,
Ditto... had this happen once ages ago and never appeared again until last week while on vacation in Cornwall.
Now it appears constantly as soon as the engine has warmed up. Never there in the morning when the coolant is cold. If car is warm (even after a few hours) its there.
Levels are fine and dealer has checked levels too (even topped up a tad as it was very slightly low).
Called them today and they have a car on the ramp that came in today with the same issue. They think its a sensor problem but maybe software. If parts are required they are ordering double so I can get the fix double quick time.
Still... worrying to drive around with this error on hot days though.
Car temp has never gone above 'just below mid way' on the temp gauge, even during our off road trip on Sunday and the 29c temps driving around Soho today.

Mine did this a couple of times a while back. Mentioned it while getting an oil change last week. Mechanic without even looking at it said "we've had a couple do this 'cause its a bad sensor. Ill go ahead and order a new bottle."Wa Hoo

Ive learned that when I drop it off at the dealer to toss the key to the "Service Advisor" then walk straight thru his office into the shop to talk the mechanic himself... who might actually know something... or at least give you a straight answer!
The mechanic then tells the "Service Advisor" what's up instead of the other way around!Wa Hoo

I go to my Suzuki dealer to find out what is wrong with the D3, then take it to LR for repair. Not joking either in the last cut out situation, think it is the air sensor. The Suzi dealer was in fact a first class Landy man before they went into 'troublesome' electronics and now he likes the simplicity of Suzuki.

Just to add to the thread that my vehicle decided to issue this warning while I was doing my dash to Wales and back yesterday. There was plenty of fluid in the bottle, so I'll wait till someone gives an update on this Forum with a fix before venturing off to the Dealers with it. Coffeecup

Hi Nige,
Had this warning also several times on the run up to the first service, mainly occured on moderate to hard acceleration out of roundabouts. No problem since service 5000 miles ago. Are you due a service?
