Not at all m8. I love my D3 as well especially after all of the snow we have had.
I love the sure footedness on ice and snow.
I love the heated seats for keeping my bum warm.
I love my Nav system (I've named her Missy Styles for some reason) for getting me to hospital so I could visit my Aunt even though a bone headed truck driver jack knifed his tractor trailer on a turn he could not have possibly made.
I love my sat radio especially since I found the BBC radio channel.
Yes I do love my D3... 2000 Discovery 2 Kent Green (totaled) R.I.P.

Pure love / hate, if only she knew how close she had come to being rejected!
After a few issues we are taking each day as it comes, there is still deep hurt from being left in limp mode in the outside lane of a motorway and the long wait for LR assistance when she was 3 days old. Believe it or not she has been to the dealers so many times I have never had to wash her!
At the moment I have left her on my drive and I am using another car, just making her sweat a bit, I left a copy of the buyacar great offer in the glove box!

my 1st year anniversary with my d3 this month, we've had our ups and downs(mainly downs), came close to putting her on autotrader this week, but decided against it, just can't let go!!! have to agree with the majority. work to live, not live to work! or work to repair the disco! still puts a smile on your face every time you drive it!

So compare this to a child:
- giving birth is not something you want to go through every week
- at a few days old, it will cry and cry and you will not know why 50% of the time
- visits to doctors, hospital, first aid are inevitable
Do you love your kids any less?

Apparently I love my D3...my wife keeps telling me that almost every day...and on more than one occasion she has said that I obviously love the D3 more than I love her....
I think she can read me like a book........ The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."
