lots of rust & Black specs over bottom half (of the car)
Washed my car yesterday and found there is loads of specs of rust/black on the back of wheel arches and along the bottom of the car, plus metal in running boards - they won’t rub off, but t-cut seems to take most of it off (although I used a fair amount and don’t really want to go through the paintwork....
One idea I had was metal cont my of brake dust?

It'll be road tar. Go halfords and get a decent tar remover and it should dissolve it without any issues.

I have found that a light application of white spirit gets most tar spots off then wiped over with damp cloth then either washed or polished.2006 TdV6 HSE.
