Lost pound coin?
Hi
Random question, I have a very strange noise. It sounds like a pound coin is sliding around on plastic. It seem to in the front seat area and slides back and forth when accelerating braking and cornering. I've searched the car top and bottom and just can't find it.
So my question is, are there any hidden areas that might contain a pound coin that I can search? It sound like it's travelling at least 6 inches in all directions so I'm stumped as to where it is.
Its starting to drive me crazy.
Thanks.

something loose in your headlining maybe? have you checked your door cards and all gloveboxes and center box/armrest? the side bins in the boot? the side storage for the jack and tow bar?what is this life, if full of care?

I had similar to this, it turned out to be a loose screw in the plastic internal door handle on the front passenger door card. I’d recently changed the locking mechanism and clearly hadn’t done one of the screws up properly.57 Defender 110 XS TDCi

Thanks I will have a look at the above mentioned places. I don't think its the headlining, sounds more like floor area. It's been like it since I bought her last month. Maybe the previous owner lost an expensive ring

Probably be an old pound coin. No longer legal so just leave it. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Took the center console apart and didn't find anything other than lots of crumbs. Going to try fishing in the air ducts with a magnet later (if the object is magnetic)
Professor, if I find your pound coin I will mail it back to you, P&P is £1.99

I know for a fact that any loose money found can not be mine because I spent it all on buying the vehicle and always use my card for fuelling, that gives me time to save up when the money is due at the end of the month
