Loose Grey Cable

I have found a grey cable with a loose end which may have had a piece of blue Landrover insulation tape over the end. Its located up behind the passenger footwell coming out of one of the main looms. Its about 4 inches long and there are no signs that it has come out of any connector blocks as there are none near by. Is this the aerial for the central locking/alarm keyfob?
