Hi Camelrock,
is this route suitable for a RRS (none damaging) or are the gates too narrow?

If the ruts have been filled in, then yes it's completely non damaging. The gates are wide enough for D4s and D5s, I haven't taken a RRS through them to compare.MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added

As JonM above says easily driveable apart from the gates, not sure about an RRS as even though pretty much the same car underneath I don’t know if there wider in the panels etc. There are other none damaging routes in the area like beggars lane above Haws

I really need to get out on the lanes soon. Need to see how the D4 compares to the D3.D4 MY15 SE TECH
D3 gone but never forgotten.

Some good replies on this.
I’m staying Tuesday to Saturday near Great Asby, which is just south Appleby-in-westmoreland.
Will be trying that water splash out and a couple of the lanes.
