Look What I Found
Well, having never removed the tow cover plate since purchasing the Disco, today i decided to do so, as we were away for a play at Drumclog, local 4x4 play area.
So in preperation for having to tow someone out, i removed the cover plate to find two towing eletrical sockets all nicely fitted.
I'll get the tester out tomorrow and check them for power, now away to buy a towbar.
if you look behind LH cover in boot you should see extra fuses for tow electrics...you may even find a tow bar in its holder in there Cheers Ian

Glad to see your optimistic in pulling someone out and not getting pulled out. Nice find, nice when things like that happen Wanted D4s non runners pm for competitive price.

When I purchased my vehicle I asked if there was a towbar included. He said no, but when I was giving it the once over I found the tow bar tucked away, probably never used. Do you think I bothered telling the seller (trade)
Even more surprise when I found all the electrics present, not to mention the actual cost of buying the stuff had they not been there .

I think i checked the LHS storage compartment already. Wishful thinking and all that.
The dealer must have had it fitted or it's factory fitted, as the vehicle was the service managers car, then i got it at 6 months old with Style 2 (SE) alloys and another couple of extras added.ATB

mine was the other way round, a print off of factory spec said tow pack, b ut but both ball and electrics were both missing £250 later they are now both thereRichard

when i brought mine it was pictured with a detatchable tow bar,,,no where to be seen when i turned up to collect it . When i questioned the seller about it he then produced it and told me it was going on fleabay the next day had i not asked some tryers around ....cheeky Thats were most of em end up by the look of it.

Is there anywhere else a tow bar might be hidden in the car? I've got electrics too but never looked for a bar stored anywhere. I like presents. Badda bing.......How you doin'?
