How Long for Warranty Direct to Pay

How long does it take on avergae for Warraty Direct to reimburse the costs of repair.

I have an agreement for the work to be done but they want me to pay the bill first Sad then submit a claim.

I am guessing the bill will be hefty for upper and lower rear wishbones, front lower wishbones, steering linkage and geometry set up.

As long as work is all pre-authorised it should go through quickly.

They want a photocopy of MOT and service history, the receipt and a filled in claim form. I did all this before picking car up, paid, put receipt in envelope and posted outside the dealership. Took about 10 days til I got a cheque back so can't complain at that.

Not as bad as I thought.

I have just asked them and they said between 10 to 14 days so that rings true

One thing I can't understand and neither could the operative on the phone, is that you can't scan the documents and email them in you have to use snail mail, even though you can download the claim form!!??!! Confused Confused Confused

I've had two claims recently. Both repaid in full by cheque within a week.

Need to make sure you follow their rules:

Approval First, get a claim number
Dealer adds claim number to invoice
You pay dealer
Submit completed claim form (download one from their website it if needed); invoice; copy of MOT; copy of most recent service invoice (not the service book)

Admin's been fine in my case.

Claim form being sent in via snail mail will be security and to slow your claim down and improve their cash flow a wee bit!
