Pity we never got to do the Grafton trip. Who knows maybe when I return from the USA we may still get it organised and maybe the floods will stay away. Moreton Island is a great spot, did that a couple of years ago.
I bought a Ford Explorer over here in the states but recently drove my D3 back in Oz and regret not picking up a D4 V8 over here for around $50k, brand new. Only problem with the Ford is that my arms get tired stretching across the seats trying to reach the steering wheel.
