My friend and I recently purchased a D3 and we got waxoyl to paint and the spray gun so that we could protect the rear chassis. It looks like it has been done previously, but still lots of surface rust to brush off and re-apply. Think the paint/spray gun cost about £60 all in, so not a bad saving. Probably not as good as the Dinitrol but god enough for us.
