If anyone would like to get more info about these tanks, they can PM me.
Cheers,

How has the tank been going?
Have you had any problems with that hose between the tanks?
Looks like you would loose all the fuel if it came off!
Do They sell to the east coast or do they only fit in their shop?

I have had the Longranger tank and Kaymar rear wheel carriers fitted for the past 10 months and have been very happy with them.
Great for long outback touring

I have the V8 and a Long Range Automotive tank on it. With both tanks filled to spill, the D3 JUST made the distance from Ceduna to Norseman (showed 0 km range the last 50 kms) and took A$298 for the Norseman fill of premium. I don't know if it makes any difference if this tank is on the V8 or the V6. Without the extra tank, the V8 barely gets warmed-up before stopping to re-fill the standard tank Jim Dowell - D4 HSE TDi, 12,000 hydraulic winch & hidden winch mount, MTRs, TyreDog, Traxide 2 x aux battery system, fixed air compressor, Dolium roof rack, MitchHitch.

Firstly give us one up high , another V8, seems we are a rare breed indeed. Can you post the distance of Ceduna to Norseman to get an idea of range with the extra tank, and just because Im a little clueless with some things, the total litre range would have been 200litres approx? Thanks

Sorry about taking so long to get back to you about this, but at least we've had a real good chance to try out the tank. The verdict: it's great. The only thing I have to watch is my overall weight - the extra fuel plus the weight of the tank add around 150Kg to the rear axle weight!
I get around 1150 Km out of the two tanks, all the while I'm towing a heavy camper trailer. All up weight of vehicle and trailer is over 5.2 tonnes! I also have two jerry cans on the camper and one on the rear carrier on the car so I should get close to 1500 Km. Longest trip without taking on fuel has been 1200 Km. I had to tip a jerry can in to be sure, to be sure as they say.
Cheers
