Solved - ideas on rear drawer mod
Been looking at alternatives to spending £600 - £1000 or so on metal drawers for the rear.
Previously I've made my own wooden versions, but fancied seeing if there was an alternative metal option.
I've set up a search on ebay for metal drawers, but the issue I'm getting is lack of decent length, ideally need at least 1m in length, but around 50cm is the longest. Cost wise though is good, as prices vary from £15 o £150 ish, but just not meeting my needs
I have a trans k9 crate, so not sure plastic will be strong enough for the weight of the crate
Any ideas of what could work? I'm in no rush and will end up making wooden ones again if nothing found, but I fancy the challenge

We get lots of fittings from here , and they do great draw runners -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Yes a set of sliding rails off something like a HP DL580 would probably make a handy set of runners for some drawers in the boot.

Screwfix do one of these but a different model ( ? ) "2 x 70mm disc locks. External H x W x D: 200 x 1201 x 1000mm. Internal H x W x D: x x . Weight 60kg." … same weight though.
