I'd do a BMW factory tour! But I doubt they would let me in, I am not physically perfect enough and would be deemed a bio-hazard in their factory laborotary. I imagine it as a white room full of men in white coats and high foreheads. I feel much more at home watching real men building Defenders out of solid metal with big hammers!

Can lend you one of my lab coats. I'll wear the grubby one I used slicing rocks up. If SWMBO hasn't binned it.

BMW or any german factory visits are funny especially when they start going on about efficiency then one of the robots has a hissy the amber lights start flashing and the guide just goes move on nothing to see
If you get a chance the Mercedes trip in Stutgart is great and the museum tour is worth it

I would be up for a tour at Solihull, I would like to see the D4s been made.
I was at the Halewood plant doing a job for a mate yesterday. and I was watching the FLs and Evoques coming off the line, and they were coming off about one every 10 seconds JE Remap, De-cat, Blanked EGR's, Allisport intercooler, Samco intercooler hoses, D4 rear lights, A bar, Big spot lights, Front headlight guards, 20'' Stormer wheels,

Come on guys, it only takes a phone call to LR Experience at Solihull.
Get some available dates for group bookings from them, then negotiate a price (the basic tour was great). Get a contact name and setup a booking reference or password with them.
Then create a sign up on here and get people who want to go to phone LRE direct and book and pay using the prearranged reference or password.
All you need to do then is keep in touch with your contact to make sure those that are signed up have paid.
Then just turn up on the arranged date and take all the glory
I would do it all myself, but am too busy with work at the moment. Ideally, it needs someone who doesn't work anymore
Gareth
You missed the bit where you get 50 deffo 'yes I want to come' to you set it all up and then only 6 actually sign up. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
