I've just sold my RRS TDV6 auto (at 15,000 miles) and got a new D3 TDV6 auto, so know what the braking should be like. However, the D3 is significantly worse at braking. How long does it take for the brakes to bed in and improve?
Or maybe the little bit extra weight shows!Matt

100 to 150 miles bedding in timeRRSport - What the disco3 Wishes it had been :rrsbb:
Sorry...completely wrong with the mileage we've done....only done 500 miles. But I suppose that is still enough for the brakes to be working at 100%.Matt

d3matt, the weight difference between RRS and Disco 3 is minimal (more or less depending on configuration)... the rated 60-0 MPH braking distance is 121 ft. (Disco 3/LR3) vs. 112 ft. (RRS). Real world is closer, I think. I can't tell the difference in braking... just the handling/feel.
