Locking Rear Diff.... Can you tell by the display

Ok, so it's well documented that I missed out on getting the locking rear diff in my motor... Evil or Very Mad
BUT When I put the car into Rock Crawl, I get the unlocked padlock signs for both the centre and rear diff.
As I haven't taken it into situations that require the diff to come on (yet) I don't know if it will change colour. I'm suited up most o fthe time, so aren't going to be crawling underneath to check the diff for the actuator. Does anyone else have the sign for the rear diff even though they know that they don't have it? Bodsys Brake Bible

yes I have the symbol and I havn't got the locking rear diff, it will stay unlocked all the time Focus ST500

Range Rover Classic

So for those who have it....how to get to lock the rear diff? is there a button you press or something? nothing yet.

It's completely automatic, if you want to encourage it to come on it's normally most eager in rock crawl in low range The End
