Yes, press lock button twice. We do that when our dog is on board. You also need to do it on a ferry to disable the tilt sensor so it doesn't alarm on a rolling boat at sea.

Euan - on D4,the second press with 3 seconds arms the deadlocks.
Alarm needs to be disabled via the Vehicle set up on the information panel

Cant remember on a D3

slight post hijack

Just a quick question while this post is up on disabling alarm sensors. When double clicking key fob to kill alarm sensors (don't know if sensors are off) the 2nd press unlocks the drivers door & rear n/s door, 1 press locks all doors ok, but as of yet never had to lock in grand kids / dog or swmbo, but off to france with tintent later in the year so any help on what where to look.
I swear MY (early 05HSE) D3 has a mind of its own.....

Not 100% sure of what the question is.

The LOCK button D3 - Once to fully alarm, twice to disable deadlock and interior sensor

The UNLOCK button D3 - Once unlocks driver door, twice the rest of the doors (this can be reprogrammed I believe)

The LandRover button - Does......stuff Whistle

The issue I have is, on locking the car on the keyfob,
1 push, all dors lock with no problem
2nd push within 3secs to turn off sensors unlocks the drivers & rear n/s doors, with the alarm sounding on opening,
I dont know If the sensors turn off on 2nd push, I haven't tested so don't know,
So why do the 2 doors unlock when disarming the sensors (somtimes on 2nd press on key fob the horn sounds) but allways the f o/s & r n/s doors unlock...

I wouldn't worry too much about the alarm going off ..... nobody will be able to hear it anyway ..... it's quite a pathetic little noise! (unless you hook it up to the horn or something a little more macho)
Despite the cost of living, it remains as popular as ever!

That happens to mine too - only the passenger door unlocks on mine Confused all locks fine on one press.
