Lightfoces and the EXPO

Small bit of help gents if I may.

Two things

1.) I see from frogs Island http://www.frogsisland4x4.com/index.php?op...emid=10235
That they list two Different Kinds of 140 lance's a HT version and a LT version.
What are the correct ones for the Expo Rack (not the G4 Rack)

2.) Did I see before here in someones gallery a sketch of the Brackets that need to be made
up to fit the Lightforces to the top ? anyone have a template

Cheers
Barry.

How you planning on mounting them?

If you are going to cut out the cowl as with the G4 rack then the low mount are spot on.

If you are mounting them another way (ie in front of the cowl somehow) then I still think the low mounts would be OK. One of the member so here did it like that but I can't remember who.

In fact, all the ones I've seen fitted to D3 racks are low versions

Barry - I made brackets and mounted them through the cowling, pics below:

And I think it was DiscStu who mounted them infront of the rack.

I think you'd just have to drill out the rivets to remove it but not sure

It is removable, but not an easy job - rivet drilling would be required. BCB and I swapped racks rather than remove the cowling

You can drill out the rivets with a 5mm bit easily enough, just take it slow. Easy to rivet it back on again too Thumbs Up
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
