Lidl battery charger from Monday 14th Nov...
Her good self has just brought home the latest Lidl leaflet and they are doing battery chargers from Monday.
I know I have read on here somewhere that people had bought chargers from here before.
Was wondering if this was the same one.

Some bas!@rd stole the charger I had after I felt it outside my house overnight. I'm a prat I know. I tidied away the tools and the extension lead and left the charger sitting..

It's nothing like the style, or price, of the previous ones they've sold, and are the subject of Narpy's link.
One of my problems with the previous range was that with a flat battery the charger kept registering it as a 6V, rather than the 12 V it really was and so did all for its living.
I get both Lidl and Aldi's eMail alerts, but nothing for this Monday, tho' it looks suspiciously like Lidl has changed its new stock day to Sundays to vie with Aldi which has traditionally seen new offers on Sundays and Thursdays.

I have a really basic plug-top style charger that has no sophisticated nonsense and bungs out full 12v power regardless. However, as it is small this is not much power at all. On a really flat battery it will push up the volts enough in a couple of hours for one of the clever ones to take over.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Well her good self arrived home with a charger today so for good or bad I now have one.
Will have to wait until the weekend to have a play with it as I am away from home for the next few days.
Thing is she said she would pay for it in return for a pair of boots she has ordered from ebay. The boots cost nearly twice as much. Not such a great deal after all....
