Option 5 - a rally pod on the bonnet of 4 lamps
"I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant"
IMO option 2 looks much nicer than option 1 with the lights too close together. Although would you have enough room for two set combining options 1 and 2. Its just a thought. Would like to see a picture of the third option just to be sure.

What you really need for brightness is one of those 'night sun' things they fit to police helicopters ISTR that they can adjust from wide to narrow beam remotely.
And you would be the first one to do the modifcation......
Just need to decide between bonnet or roof mount

Thanks for the feedback, I guess Option 2 has the clear vote and if I'm honest, was where I was heading. Thought it might be a little too inset, but will Mock up option 3 when I get a chance.
Don't think I'll go Slimers version as I just want them inset in the grill, I'm pretty sure you could JUST aboiut squeeze in 4x170's but I think it would look too crowded and you'd also have to hack into the side of the front grill. Not sure how stable it would be after that much removal? You can clearly get 4x140's in there as christ has done, but not sure about 170's
Like the thought about being Series II esque
Shiney, you any good at carbon fibre fabrication then...?
LR Bagde in the middle of the Grill.......? Now that's not such a strange idea........
Markw, Having looked at How christylers done his, I'll be using a piece of angle aluminium drilled & screwed in front of the radiator. Difficult to describe here without pics.
Once I've done the mod, I'll be posting pics (in fact it'll take a while to do the grill alone!!) so will post updates as I'm going through it.
As for the wiring, I'll make up a loom to/from a relay, will be on off on so can run them independantly. They'll be wired into my Aux Battery, so no need to bother about them being on without the keys left in the car
Don't want the A-Bar (Bought & sold one before...) but want good long range light. I think the 170's should give me what I'm looking for as a blend without going to the awesome 240's

There, told you option 3 would look the best.
More balanced IMO
Gives it a broader stance.
posting pic so no one has to scroll back. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Definitely option 6 which has two sub options, one being "don't" et the other "get an A bar for god sake" A second D3 ! This time with all whistles and bells (Auto, 7seats, Diff Lock, RAI, all kinds of protections, winch, Extended range tank, iPod adapter....)
First time twice the same car ! and first time third car of the same brand !
I'm loving it !

I'd go for an inbetween option 2 & 3
IMO option 3 is slightly too wide & option 2 slightly too close

Dont worry about the Landrover badge - the big L A N D R O V E R on the bonnet should be enough for the confused A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
