You mean Eastnor then
Its probably the best site and home to much future LR testing.
Keep yer eyes peeled for the new Freelander.

If it’s not too wet on your day ask if you can drive the steep hill they call “gearboxâ€.
You won’t be disappointed it’s a great course. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
on the day i have asked for a d3 auto, does anyone know if they have locking rear diffs and if so do they use them much.
the reason being i do not have rear diff lock so i don't really want to drive round with this in use as i will not get the true feeling as to what my own car is capable of.

They normally let you drive a car with the same standard spec.
Call them and check. Eastnor were more than keen to let me drive a same spec (as far as off road hardware goes and gearbox) D3.
I had a manual 'S' for mine as like you I wanted to 'Experience' my D3 off road not a ticked up model.
And they use standard tyres too !
You will be amazed at what the D3 on standard tyres is capable of.
i can't wait (never slept last night i was to exited)

Eastnor is IMHO the best place to do LRE training, you never know what you might see or who you might bump into.
You may well see plenty of G4 trucks, and a quite likely you might see the new Freelander.
I have lost count how many times I have been up there and I trying to organising some winching training there latter this year.
Let us know which instructor you get, chances are they may well know me.
Danny.

You should have had a free half day when you bought your D3... but here is the URL for Land Rover Experience.
Has anyone who has bought one in 2006 got a voucher?
There is nothing about the half day on the LR link anymore.
Just wondering if I will get one for my replacement next week

They have stoped doing the free 1/2 day when you buy one. I think potential buyers are invited to a free 1/2 day instead. Or something like that.In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I got my dealer to check this whilst I was waiting for delivery of mine and he confirmed that LR have stopped them since 31/12/05. However, he suggested that if I had a good old whinge at LRCC they'd probably cave in - especially seeing as there will be a few people who ordered before Christmas for a 1st March delivery who will probably get one...
when i have done my level 1 at eastnor on the 13th march will i net a certificate or anything to say i have done it
