Hi
Has anybody had problems with connecting a D4 to a caravan/trailer fitted with LED's. The dealer says it can't be done but I can't believe that it's not possible. Anybody know different?

Hi Everyone
Thanks for your responses but panic over I managed to find an electrician who understands the 12v world. I put him in touch with the manufacturers of the caravan (Fifth Wheel Company-INOS caravan) who explained what changes they had to make to the caravan wiring for the lights to work when connected to my previous car (D3/09). For some reason almost unique to the D3 the rear indicators were flashing when coupled up to the van but they installed some way around this and the electrician had to undo this work. Everything seems to now work on my new D4 (collected Tuesday) apart from the repeater on the dash which should work in conjunction with the indicators. I understand that this is a legal requirement but hey ho at least I can now go caravanning.
Regards

The dealer supplied the tow pack and I specifically asked them on collection if they had enabled the electrics and they assured me that they had. Not sure what else you can do, is it possible to tell whether they are enabled or not?
