Ledfog101 issue

I have installed the ledfog101 lights in my D3.
They are working fine, except for when I turn off the ignition, the lights stay on for 30/40 seconds.
This is not a problem during the day, but when it's dark I'm getting complaints from my neighbour as they are lighting up his whole house. Sad
Is there a way of disabling this "follow me home" function?

You can set the duration the lights stay on in the menu on the dash

Try turning the lights off BEFORE you switch off and remove the key.
Your FMHL won't operate if you do this. Wink

I suspect this is the aftermarket DRL's staying on causing the problem?

Which is an aftermarket function.

I suggest you read the DRL instructions to see where they say they are meant to stay on (and if there is anyway of stopping)

do you connect to an ignition supply or just the battery supply ?

Sorry, yes it is the Osram aftermarket dlr's that are causing the problem.
They connect straight to the battery.

Instead of connecting them straight to the battery, connect to a fuse that is live with ignition key.
