LED interior upgrades
Hi all, I'm aware the PowerfulUK do their kits, but I'm assuming they're (quite fairly) putting a premium on a Chinese set that they've validated. Has anyone had any experiences with any alternative sets?

I’m after some vanity mirror led bulb for my D3. The ones that came were wrong.
I found these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125331287247
Now the candle yellow light is a thing of the past.

I’ve bought LEDs from both Advanced Factors (site sponsors) and Powerful UK.
I’d rather pay a little more for the peace of mind and to support small UK businesses. As an example, I bought a full interior set of bulbs for one of my D4’s from AF, one wasn’t a great fit, a replacement was sent out to me the following day.
Each to their own though. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I bought the more expensive Powerful UK complete interior kit about 18 months ago and the front one started to flicker about 2 weeks ago and yesterday stopped working.
This time I think I'll try a cheap one from Ebay next and see how long that lastsCheers

Whatever set you buy I'd highly recommend watching the Powerful UK Youtube video on fitting the LED replacements. Really helpful.
The front passenger footwell one is under some wire tension so watch out when you remove the unit as if you let go it disappears into the lower dash.
I also found the vanity mirror bulbs a PITA to replace as I was constantly blowing the fuse trying to do those. I left them be as they rarely get used and Mrs said she preferred the OEM lighting from those tiny bulbs anyway..
Others may have been slicker at an install than me but hope this helps you...Jim

Likewise. I had one dud bulb and a replacement was sent pronto. I have had no problems at all other than that and the set from Powerful has been in my D4 for a couple of years now.Jim
