same here. all interior bulbs changed for LEDs from advanced factors and puddle lamps and all working fine for months. Makes a massive improvement to the interior imo. Also fitted the led reversing lights and they are much brighter especially with privacy glass fitted.Currently 2015 D4 SE Tech, Corris Grey

Likewise, have attempted to fit 6 so far from a bulk purchase from AF, 5 of which wouldn't work. Very disappointed to say the least and feel like binning the lot or requesting a full refund. Bought the led reverse lights too which I have yet to try. Any problems with them and that'll definitely be our relationship finished.I'm off to a party with the RNLI tonight. They may not get together very often, but when they do, they certainly know how to push the boat out.

Obvious point but you do know they have a polarity and only work one way? Also check the contacts aren't too close together or they may be missing the bulb holder contacts.

Mind you 5 out of 6 in the wrong way would be pretty unlucky.

Pins all checked and double checked; all found correctly fitted. Feed tested within lamp units to find +ve supply and these matched to red lead from led unit. Nothing. Just in case it was a wiring mis-match I turned the cables around and supplied the led unit through the black cable instead. Still nothing. Put the capless 501's back in and they worked perfectly so that's the way they'll stay for the time being as I don't have time to about with them at the moment. Have yet to try the led reverse lamps that I bought at the same time but I have that nagging feeling that all will be far from well with them too, given my success rate so far. Will report back when I've had time to give it all more effort.....I'm off to a party with the RNLI tonight. They may not get together very often, but when they do, they certainly know how to push the boat out.
I've replaced all of my interior bulbs with LED's from Steve (MY2015) and they all work as they should, I did find with the puddle lights that they didn't work straight away but after I had let the car go to sleep they then worked
I found that the puddle lights,(the ones in the doors) did not work after removing the old lamp and fitting the ones from AF, close the door and open it and it's fine, as though they are on a timer or the power cuts out when the lamp is removed and the door closing and opening again resets it

Probably because they switched off. So the power was cut to them, then by opening the door again they woke up.

I couldn't get my D4 front puddle lights working with LEDs, whatever I tried. Old style filaments in there.
Everything else inside works great with LED, but replaced a front overhead map light with a filament as the LEDs killed my night vision.

LEDs fitted in my puddle lights all working fine and have been for over a year. Though as has been said, I shut the door and opened again to get them going.23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Full set of interior and number plate LEDs just fitted from Powerful UK.
Diirect plug in replacement units rather than bulb swaps for puddle, footwell, boot and number plate lights. Bulbs for courtesy / map lights.
More expensive than a bulb swap, but all work fine and easy peasy to change.
