Another buddy of mine says on the LR disc it shows the bulb as PSY24W
I think some BM's and VW's use these
Philips do a PSY24W but i can't find a picture at the mo
Part number 12188NAC1
Here we go , think the LR disc is bollx
The base of the bulb is wrong see another bulb i found which looks more like the one i took out exept its clear and we need amber
The bottom one is a HP24W

Land Rover part number for the bulb is LR014111 and states it as a PSY24W
If you look at a PSY24W it looks nothing like the one i pulled out !!!! The base is different
Led PSY24W are readily availabe though ! But IMO they won't fit
Found some good info on this site with a lot of parts diagrams part numbers and stuff for all Land Rovers but you need to be pretty good at russian LOL . Not sure if there's a site in english like it.

The bulb itself is the same as a PSY24W but its the plastic body that looks different to me.
Whereas the HP24W looks identical to the D4 plastic body and bulb - except its Clear not Amber.
There are no markings at all on the bulb
Here's some more pics of a HP24W (Clear)
If we can get equivalent to these in Amber i think they will do the job the body is identical

Just had an e-mail back from the states and as i thought the D4 ind bulb isn't a PSY24W.
It looks like an LED equivalent to the D4 bulb isn't available and maybe never will be, 2007 RS4 Avant

When I took mine out I thought that the bulb holder looked a bit too bulky to come with the bulb itself and pulled hard and the bulb comes out with a two pin base and a circular piece of plastic to stabilise the pins.
I thought that I had broken it but put it back together and took it apart a few times and it still seems fine ( it works!)
I reckon there might be a generic replacement that has two pins.
Sorry by the way for the 27W typo 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

Yeh seen that done here but didn't want to damage mine.
Looks like the clear version of the bulb is in the Citroen C5
It would be interesting to see exactly what Land Rover supply as a replacement (i.e. the complete bulb with holder or just the bulb)
