A friend has just bought a D3 base 7 seat with airsuspension and auto. He got a good deal, but fancies leather seats. My dealer has offered to get it done for £900, anyone know if this is good deal? DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

It must be because they seats must come with electrics, unless they are from a non OEM company then who knows what they will look like. Exmoor Trim do leather seats for D3 at well over £1200

Sounds very much like just reupholstering the current seats, not replacing them with the LR leather seats. If it's reupholstering it's cheap (as Brian says Exmoor trim will charge a lot more than that). If it replacing with LR seats I'll have some too at that price The End

From memory Exmoor trim were charging £1250 for the leather seats and another £1250 to fit them. Looked a rather fiddly job to me. £900 sounds like an absolute bargain! Discovery 3 tdv6 7 seat Buckingham Blue

That price is a bargain. I've had quotes ranging from £1000 up to £2500. Only thing to watch is the quality of the leather that is being used and the amount of hides. This is more likely where the good price comes in. Lower quality, which will still propably be good, and less hides, which makes the leather thinner and not as resistant to abuse...long term. Will also crease a bit more earlier on in it's life. Especially if it's a large, heavy butt that's sitting on it.
If I remember correctly there are somewhere in the region of 15 grade levels.
