Leaky windscreen!

Got in the D3 this afternoon after the clouds had dumped a significant amount on the car. First thing I saw was a small puddle of water on top of steering wheel adjustment column. The viser had been down in the car (must have been sunny when last driven) and that was wet as well. Most annoyingly when I drive if I do a left hand bend my right foot gets wet and I haven't a clue where the water is coming from. Any ideas on how to take the large panel below the steering wheel off to see if any more water is lurking on cables? Think the overall issue must relate to the windscreen which was replaced a couple of months back.

Like with most trim in a D3 it's just a case of grabbing it and giving it a good yank.
There are lugs at either the top or the bottom, and the spring clips at the other end.
I can't remember which way round it is at the moment.

IIRC the spring clips are at the bottom and you just need to pull down to release both the top corners

The panel held on with the torx screws is easier to get out if you pull the kick panel off first, otherwise it gets a bit awkward.
There is also the wiring for the footwell light to disconnect.

I had a similar issue. The water leaked because the sunroof drain was clogged.
