Late Range Rover wheels on a D3
I apologise if this has been asked before but I have had a quick look through and can't find a specific answer.
I'm looking to fit a newer larger set of wheels to my D3 and have seen a few sets relatively well priced from 2017 & 2018 Range Rovers, does anyone know if they fit or even better have pictures ?
One final question which I realise is a matter of opinion & that is what is the ride quality like on 20" rims with 55 profile tyres ?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Picked up a set of 20's on the weekend, very impressed with the ride on the 255/55/20 over my stock 18" xs alloys pic below parked up after testing with caravan on tow.

Looks good, they are similar if not the same wheels that I've been looking at
I was under the impression that the Range Rover wheels are not rated for the D3 as they have a lighter load bearing and therefore not suitableRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

I looked into this before buying, the vehicle gross weight it meets the D3, There was also a post on "wheels & tyres" thread about them being ok?
Granted the current set of scorpions are load rated 109 and I recommended is 111 this equates to 1030 Vs 1090 a corner, I'm ok with this as is still over the gross weight of the disco and will be replacing the tyres with correct load rating when they wear out.

Funny enough when I bought mine it had 109 rated tyres and was going to get a new set anyway
Spoke to the insurance company and they advised me they would refuse Ins unless I changed the tyres as per manufactures specifications to the 111t
Fitted a new set of cooper at/3 with the 111 marking , I’m only on 17 inch rims but wanted a bigger sidewall , 235/70/17
Makes me cringe when I see low profiles on a 4x4
I assume if the correct rated tyres aren’t fitted and involved in an accident the ins would therefore be void
Also thought the RRS rims weren’t suppose to be fitted on the D3s
That was my thoughts as well, always best to ask the insurance co for clarification, both the rrs and ffrr wheels have a lower weight rating and I’m sure if not informed the insurance co will refuse to pay out,Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Indeed that’s why i spoke to my ins company because I didn’t know what the score was and didn’t want to have any surprises if something happened
They point blank refused any cover until I had the new tyres fitted with the 111 on them

That was my experience too.
You also need to inform warranty company if any.
NJSSAm I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.
