last Non-adaptive to adaptive question.. Promise :-)
Ok I made the mistake of pulling the trigger on a set of xenon headlights before checking here to see if they were adaptive or not. Of course they ended up being adaptive.
I have them on ebay but there dosent really seem to be much interest in them, and I really need to get what I have in them back (600usd if anyone is looking for a set)
So.. I'm wondering does anyone know if I plug them in will the lights at the very least turn on? Ive been doing some research and found som pictures of the plugs of non adaptive lights and see the non adaptive ones just have less pins.
So basically if I plug them in will they turn on and will the self leveling work? I dont want to be brave aka stupid and plug them in only to find out they moved grounding pins around and burn something up!
Next does anyonr have a wiring diagram for the adaptive part and know how they work? I have a electronics guru guy at work that build all kinds of motor controllers for stuff from live well pumps to telescope sky trackers and hes willing to look at the schmatic for me and see if he can maybe build a controller so I could steer the headlights manually.
I know this is probablly a lot of work but I have them so if I could use them it would be nice. Of course if some one wants to save me from alot of work and wants to buy them off me that would be great too!!
Oh another thought totally unethical but what do you think if I just put them in and drove up to the land rover dealer and be like hey my headlights dont seem to be working (its still under warrenty)?!?
