I'm just thinking of trading my 2 years old Disco 3 in for a new Duffender! If you never try, you'll never know...

think carefully before you do, they are a very special thing to own but I'm not sure the internal modifications to the 07 model have been entirely succesful. they 07+ models are not holding values as well as you might think.
have you had a defender before ?

No I haven't owned one, but have driven them, though not the new ones. It's come down to the inevitable, my car is 3 in December, I normally keep them for two years, and although (touch wood), this Disco is as near perfect as damn it, I don't want to keep it outside of warranty, for the reasons frequently listed in the General Section! It's just that I NEED 7 seats, and love LR, and I just thought a defender would last longer than a new Disco. I also, as you point out, thought it would hold it's resale value, at least better than Disco. If you never try, you'll never know...

i bought the 90 for the same reasons holds value better, longevity i think this is right if you keep hold of it for 5-10 years but they still lose big money in the first year.
why not buy a one year old disco and run it for two years...........

drive it with the door open, to get used to the space you will have next to your body in your next car. Some people get by
With a little understanding
Some people get by
With a whole lot more
I dont know
Why you gotta be so undemanding
