Gary_P wrote:If you do go down the main dealer route I would have thought paying as you glo ( ie each year) would be better. It wouldn’t cost that much more (if anything) and you wouldn’t be tied in. You could try the first one and see how it goes. In the meantime you can earn interest on your money or save up if necc.
^^ would you get any money back if you sold/crashed or had the car stolen please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

Read the fine print
You will more than likely find that "extras" due at servicing is not covered, such as brake fluid, flexi pipes, belts etc My D3 Build Thread

I had a 3 year plan on my Jaguar, and it was just 3 basic services as scheduled. Anything extra, or consumables found on the Vehicle Health Check were extra.

According to JLR it should also include DEF fluid, but not by Stratstone it seems, but then again, the wheels should be removed to inspect the brakes and adjust the hand brake according to the JLR service sheet, but again, not according to Stratstone.
In fairness though they did offer to change the brake fluid for £125 which was tested two weeks ago to find no moisture present.

thought this would spark a bit of discussion (keep our minds of B***** (dare not say the word)
@Dan it was stratstones, my warranty is coming to an end and I have an issue with my bonnet catch so going in to be fixed under the warranty they offered me a quote so out of morbid curiosity i said yes!
i only do 10000 a year and the car is just 3 years old so don't think this plan would cover belts!
Approximate mileage / date
48000 miles / October 2019
64000 miles / March 2020
80000 miles / March 2021
what makes it funny is I'm only at 32000 now (which i told them) so wont have done another 16000 miles by October
