Land Rover Insurance. Eh?
Just got off the phone with LR Insurance for a quote. Apparently window tints are okay but a re-map (economy) is 'messing about with the engine'! So, no cover. WTF! Have I missed something?

Question answered on other thread (that I'd already read!). LR have new underwriters. Wonder how much custom they have lost?

Ian not sure how much they quoted you but their policies are normally good, some on here have had accidents and there has been no quibble or hasle what so ever, they also give off road cover.MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange

remember it depends on how offroad you want to go offroad - if you're sticking to green lanes and byways etc these are fully legal roads (just not tarmac'ed) and so standard insurance will cover youSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I've been with LRI for 13 years through different underwriters ...they continue to provide genuine off road cover beyond green lanes and they have proven to pay out under such circumstances. I have had a remap covered with them ...but I suspect the OP's findings on their recent stance is one to be found across several insurers.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
