Does anyone know how to program the Land Rover button on the key fob, to open/un-latch the Tail gate only, I have one that works and one that does'nt. Cannot find anything in the hand book that mentions this feature. !!

I don't think its officially a feature to program the LR button to open the tail gate.
Bit saying that I found you can program it using the same method as the supported features. If the tail gate is opened while the button is pressed it will set it. Only snag I found was it only half unlatched the door.

Hi,
I have never heard of this feature but i will try it on mine tonight.
So to recap, I should open the top part of the boot and then press and hold the LR button.
On this subject. The manual states that when reprograming the LR button, the dashboard should beep an acknowledgment, however mine does not beep..... Does anybody's on here??
Cheers

Mine doesn't beep either - I spent ages cursing it that it wouldn't program, then realised it was programming, just not beeping.

RE: intermittent unlatching.... I've programmed mine ok, a double push on the LR button makes sure it's open every time
When I picked mine up, the salesman said that the tailgate release programming is a feature on the RRS.... which is basically the same software / firmware for the vehicle systems

Just a quick warning to all about this feature
If you use the LR button with the car locked, it will still undo the tailgate but will leave the rest of the car locked......
Therefore if you put things in the boot and accidentally put the car key in at the same time, and then close the tailgate, the key (and belongings) will be locked in the car
Just thought I would warn you
Cheers
