LRA covers the car no matter who drives it, as long it's within the 3 year warranty period or in the extended warranty or it's taken out personally..
As for the R*C and A* they cover the person/membership

Does that mean you CAN have a personal LRA membership that transfers to whichever LR vehicle you drive?
(and leaves SWMBO not covered on the school run? )
Both aspects are purely hypothetical to me at present - just interested....
Andy
Edit: NO! - I understand - by "personally" you mean AFTER the 3 years someone has personally taken out LRA cover, not necessarily with extended warranty...
I will RTFP next time... 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

Haven't heard that one, then again you hear allsorts of rumours, we tend to focus on the job in-hand,, i know there's tender process in process at the moment...Be silly to chuck away 10years and go with a different supplier(my opinion),,you don't learn about these vehicles in a day!!

I understand Audi Assistance has gone to the RAC - at least they said so when they came out a second time to my son's second engine blow-up.
Funnily enough he got the same loan car each time his engine blew up
But then Audis are different... 2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

Had a chat with the LR/Jaguar Assistance guy who came out to replace the EGR on my wife's X-Type. Interestingly, he said couldn't do EGRs on TDV6 by the roadside, but did carry round suspension compressor, which could be done by roadside. My take is that LRA is worth the £70 over equivalent Green Flag level of cover as there is around twice the chance of fixing things by the roadside, and I make that £70 back over the year by using an independent Land Rover specialist - PF Midlands, at Morton Bagot, Warwickshire if you want a recommendation - ask for Scott.
