Just pads.
I have no idea which make, but I can ask them next time I pass. I guess they would go for long-wearing ones as they pay the next lot! My D3HSE (second hand) was first owned by LR.
Info pack for company user was left in the glove box.
Instructed to call Kwik Fit in the event of tyre related problems.
Both LR and Kwik Fit part of FORD.
Don't know about LRs current ownership, FORD or TATA. D3 HSE Diesel Auto 2005 Zambezi Silver.

LR is now TATA and Kwik-Fit was sold off as I remember when Ford divested itself of everything non-core to go back to just building Ford badged cars and financial services.

Yeah, they've got the Torque setting wrong for the caliper bolt and they don't back off the adjustment as much as they should do (8 clicks).
We've let them know of their error Bodsys Brake Bible

It's the torque setting for the rear Brake Caliper Bolts. They have them as 175Nm, but latest GTR info sets them at 115Nm.

They used UNIPART pads in my fronts , I got the same mixed messages about the rear brakes they said they cant do it because of the EPB. , then another co worker on another day said they could do it so I booked it in, but he was off work that day and a third guy said oh sorry we cant do it.
I think they have been warned they might encounter problems so they steer clear. but all the guys havnt heard the warning......
when it comes to changing the pads again they will probably reccomend the disks get changed as well, so you have to pay for the disks to get the free pads......... they quoted ~~ £220 for disks and free pads to replaced on the front.

When I had a PT Cruiser a few years back, I needed the oil changed quick before going abroad and I didnt have time to do it myself. I went into fit and asked them do do it. I already had the new filters in the car, just needed the actual work doing. He tapped away on his computer and looked up at me. " Sorry sir, we cant do it"
Why the hell not, I disclaim... "Beacuse its not on our computer".
Good god what does that matter, all you need to do is drop the oil, change the filter and fill it up again. "Sorry sir, if its not on the computer, we cant touch it"
So in the end I had to go to another local garage and got it done there.
I'll never use fit again. Thats not the first time they have screwed me or let me down.
