Whatever it's called. I get this on taking up drive and it really annoys me, took the parents out in the D4 yesterday and even they said "what's that noise?"

Its been in and had hydra bushes and arbs changed, it still does it and could even be getting worse.

LR technician told me it's normal and they all do it, if that's true how do you lot put up with it??

Find a new technician was my first thought. Still under warranty?

Yep it's 3 in July, should I just approach a different dealer?

It is easy to assume the obvious causes such as bushes, I just inspected my rear end expecting to find worn bushes in the upper arms as causing the knocking. However it turned out to be a flapping shield for the spare wheel, both rivots had rusted through and the shield was banging against metal parts. Two nuts and bolts later and it was as good as new - no knocking.

Edit: I realise mine is an old D3, but it looks like offroad could also out the rivets.
